This project paper was conducted due to the awareness about paying zakat on income is still in lower level. Even though the report from Board Of zakat Selangor shown the increasing in collection Of zakat On income but compared in Johor Bahru, the collection still in the moderate level and need to improvise with other alternative which making people be more aware about the important to participate in paying zakat on income. This project paper discussed about the issue of zakat on income which the aim of researcher is whether the individual muslim that have a potential in paying zakat on income who are not participating in paying zakat on income. This project paper discussed about the issue of zakat on income which the aim of researcher is whether the the individual muslim that have a potential in paying zakat on income. The factors included in this paper are income level. attitude towards zakat and lack of knowledge and demographic factors which marital status. The result shows that there is significant relationship between the factors and non-contributing in paying zakat on income which the factors of income level, attitude towards zakat and lack of knowledge are significantly correlated to the non- contributing in paying zakat on income |
