Summary: | Failure or bankruptcy of financially distressed companies can be a series of threat to investors and economic agents. In some ways, it could involve many parties and also large cost. We can tell that the firms that are classified as financially distress could affect the firms' credibility in meeting their financial obligation, as well as we know that poor governance and problem of agency could cause financial distress. Hence, this paper is conducted to study the relationship between mechanism of corporate governance and financial distress in Malaysia covering 193 total number of companies in Bursa Malaysia after some adjustments has been made. |
