The independent variable that is used on this research is gross domestic product, commodity prices, Kuala Lumpur Composite Index and inflation rate. How the four variable will impact the ASB' dividend and causes the downtrend of dividend distribution. Moreover, this research is using quantitative method in order to complete the research. All of the data collected is only obtained from secondary data and comprises time series data. The Ordinary Least Square (OLS) is the method that used in this research to regress the data. Due to the limitations, only 30 samples of data are collected from 1990 to 2019 which is apply on yearly basis.
