Summary:The main aim of this thesis was to study and analyzed solo played by Daniel Sadownick and discover the elements of Latin style in percussion solos. The paperwork includes information of improvisations, rudiments, claves, and Latin rhythms, This study is performed to measure the usage of rudiments and elements used in Daniel Sadownick's solos. To achieve this, data has been collected by past research from other researchers, books, online journal and interview session with Daniel Sadownick himself. One of Daniel Sadownick's solo video has been transcribed by the researcher in order to find out this case of study. For the past several years the researcher have never seen a percussionist played the same way as Mr. Sadownicks and the researcher tought by transcribing his solos and studied whatever elements and rudiments used in solo, might helps future percussionists to develop their solos.
