Summary:Mobile devices became pervasive objects as soon as people used mobile phones, smart phones, and PDAs anywhere and at any time. However, the design and implementation of mobile applications are still not straight forward. Moreover, decision makers cannot simply decide the risk of a project due to the difficulties to compare the various capabilities of existing software platforms for mobile devices. To increase an efficiency of a services, nowadays many government departments' moves towards using the mobile application to deliver their information depend on what type of business. Management Department, Selangor State Health Department (SSHD) is a department that is responsible to manage the transportation for staff for the official used. It manages the operational of the transportation in matter of booking transport. This project aims to justify the requirements needed for the web-based E-Kenderaan system and to propose the technology of mobile application as an alternative to the current system, there are three topics discussed in this project, web-based accessibility, stability and connectivity that support web-based system which is important to support IT department to enhance the E-Kenderaan web-based system. The significant of the system allows the admin, staff, normal user and driver to check the availability of transport immediately. However, due to the increasing demand from the internal clients, the mobile application is proposed as an option the method users access the system. This project intends to propose the mobile system in order to enhance the current web-based E-Kenderaan System, concurrently by applied a suitable mobile application software.
