Summary:The word 'inventory' can be referred to the both total amount of goods and act of counting them. Many companies counted an inventory of their supplies on a regular basis in order to avoid running out of popular items. While others take an inventory to insure the number of items ordered matches to the actual number of items counted physically. Previously, according to Pusat Kesihatan's staff there was no inventory system applied in pharmacist department. The purpose of this project is to enhance the current system with computerize system using inventory technique. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) was being chosen as the technique to apply in the inventory concepts. By applying this technique, the exact quantity of medicine can be estimated by users to avoid exceed of unused medicine. Besides, Economic Order Quantity Model assumes that relevant costs of inventory can be divided into order costs and carrying costs. In conclusion, this project shows that Economic Order Quantity is suitable to reduce unused medicine hence to reduce the total cost of the medicine's price.
