Summary:Traditionally, learning environment in education system emphasizes the importance of being in classrooms and face to face conduct. Nowadays, blended learning becomes more common in education system. Blended learning integrated traditional classroom activity with e-learning solutions. With the emergence of new internet technology such as social networking medium, many academicians start to explore the effectiveness of providing learning environment using blended learning. This research attempts to determine whether different teaching and learning method affects students' performance. This research also focus on to determine how prolong usage of Facebook affects students' performance. This experimental research approach used 60 college students as research sample. They are divided equally into Test Group and Control Group. Performance is measured through the student's test score. T-test is used to bind the significance of the usage of Facebook in blended learning. The research identified that there is no significant difference of students' performance between different teaching and learning method. However, the prolong usage of Facebook in blended learning has positive effect on students' performance. This research contributes towards raising the awareness of the usage of Facebook in blended learning.
