Description
Summary:Learning Tajweed Aplication by using Component Display Theory (TAJAPP) is designed as a teaching tool in learning tajweed for students. Children at young age tend to get boring when studying by using a book. T AJAPP is develop to overcame the problem by developed it by combining multimedia technique and Component Display Theory (CDT). CDT classifies learning along two dimensions: content which are facts, concepts, procedures and principles; and performance which are remembering, using and generalities. There are two scopes of this application which are user and functional. In this tajweed application, the user are ten years old kids who is currently in standard four in primary school and three functional scope which are content, exercise and feedbacks module. This research are using ADDIE model which are acronyms for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation as a method to conduct this research. ADDIE model helps by guiding the process of creating an effective educational model in a step-by-step framework to ensure the course development and learning does not occur in a unstructured way. This application has been tested to 15 kids only because of time constraint and school holiday. In the results that have been conducted, most of the student agreed that TAJAPP application can help them to learn tajweed interactively, understanding examples of each types of the tajweed easily, recall through exercises and can practice by applying it when reciting the Quran and hence has achieves its objectives which are to apply Component Display Theory (CDT) in learning tajweed applications as a teaching tool for students in standard four. There are a few enhancements that can be implemented for future works to make this application more efficient. Some of the improvement that can be added are adding an update module, developing a voice recognition module, developing an online module, and lastly, developing this current application into mobile platform.
