Description
Summary:Footprints Backpacking Trail Mobile Application is a mobile application designed for android users and proposed to promote easy retrieval of information when traveling to highlands in Malaysia for a relatively new traveler community known as backpackers. This application allows users to locate themselves in the map to pinpoint their exact location so that they can identify their starting point before headed out for their journey. Furthermore, this application provides navigation that is set on walking to the listed destination on user's chosen highland. Place of interest (POI) finder function is also included in the application to allow users to locate the place of interest around them. The main objectives of developing this mobile application are to provide navigation to destination on highland and finder for the places of interest nearest to user. This application requires the use of Global Positioning System (GPS) and internet connection.
