Description
Summary:Faculty o Computer and Mathematical Sciences (FSKM) Shah Alam currently does not have any formal site or portal for their alumni and only depends on Facebook page and ICAN website that associate the alumni of UiTM. The aim of the project is to develop an alumni system for FSKM using Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. The researcher chooses RAD methodology because RAD is a more capable process, as it is much faster and less error prone than hand coding. There are 3 objectives of developing the system that have been achieved, first is to identify the requirement needed to the system, and then analyze the requirement that the researcher identify. After that, design and develop the system using RAD Approaches. By using the alumni system, al alumni of FSKM can use the system and connect with friends that have been lost since graduation day. There is no need to fill in physical form but can directly register into the system by online. In future, researcher hopes that more discoveries of features can be made into the system. As stated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khairil, who wishes to have a digital photo book for the alumni to tag in any friends, they might know. He also wishes that the system can generate the password for the user, but as it seems hard to make, a suggestion is made, which is any alumni or lecturers who wishes to post any news, can do so by sending a proposal to A.P. Dr. Khairil's personal assistant.
