Description
Summary:The study concentrates on the Time Series Analysis of quarterly data on Overdraft, Base Lending Rates and Consumer Price Index from year 1997 to 2000. The main purpose of this research are to enable the readers identify the pattern or behavioral pattern of Overdraft amount, Base Lending Rates (BLR) and Consumer Price Index (CP) before making any business decision. These three variables are the main factors in determining the success and failure of any business organization. The researcher is using Multiplicative Model of Time Series Analysis to analyze the three variables concerned. This method can be used to determine if there is any seasonal or quarterly fluctuation on the variables by calculating the quarterly index for each quarter and use this index to forecast the future value. Lastly, based on the result, the conclusion and recommendation will be made. So that the related individuals and organization can use the information in their decision making. They can also apply the Multiplicative Time Series Model to forecast the future values of research variables such as the Overdraft amount, Base Lending Rates (BLR) and Consumer Price Index (CPI).
