Summary:A QR Code is a machine-readable optical label that contains information about the item to which it is attached. In this study, Student Activities Record using QR Code scan is developed to help student to record any activity or event that have been organized by UiTM using their smartphone. Mobile computing is applied for this project because it is easier for student to scan the QR Code using mobile. For the experiment, student must install the application in their smartphone and they can use the Student Activity Record anywhere if they have internet access. All information contained in the QR code is stored in the database after scanning process. Cloud Computing Database which is Private Cloud Platform is used as a database for this project. This platform is used because it easy to access. For the evaluation, functionality test of the application is evaluated by doing a number of surveys on student and expert. In the future, with the deployment of this application, the student will have an advantage in storing the data about their activity on database rather than recorded on piece of paper that can easy to lost.
