The aim of this study is to understanding the rising damp behavior on the heritage buildings in Kuala Lumpur. In order to carryout this study, Bangunan Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur was selected as the case study because on the rising damp occur on this building. To achieve the goalof the study, a non-destructive dampness test and visual inspection will carry out to determine the behavior of the rising damp in this building.
