Summary:There is a growing concern about individuals' awareness and willingness to receive the HPV vaccine since the young women are much dependant on the parents' acceptance of the vaccination. The aim of this study is to determine the awareness, initiative and willingness against cervical cancer and HPV vaccination among female students in Centre of Foundation Studies (CFS) UITM Puncak Alam. This is a cross sectional study with convenient sampling method. A validated questionnaire was used for data collection instrument. A total number of 444 female students participated in this study with more than half (68.1%) agreed that cervical cancer can be prevented by HPV vaccination. Female students were found to have a satisfactory level of awareness and willingness with total scores of over 70%.
