School Resource Centre (SRC) is an informal learning space where it can help student performance in learning. Aesthetical value often associated in designing of School Resource Center (SRC). Whereas, SRC actually need a proper space planning to make sure it can befit students learning behavior, pattern and activities in order to sustain the utilization of the space. According to the preceding statements, space planning is one of the most important factors to consider when designing SRC. Furthermore, improving the quality of life is the main goal of the sustainability concept which is laying out the solution of the space design that can last for a long time while also facilitating the user needs. One of the pivotal examples in the sustainability concept is occupants' effective use of space. In this research context, space design refers to the distinguishing feature and peculiar quality of space that is sustainable to its user, as widely stated in any space syntax literature. To achieve the aim of sustainable concept, five components of spatial characteristics has been developed from the reviews to guide researcher in this study research. 2022 Thesis https://ir.uitm.edu.my/id/eprint/75100/ https://ir.uitm.edu.my/id/eprint/75100/1/75100.pdf text en validuser masters Universiti Teknologi MARA, Perak Faculty of Architecture, Planning & Surveying Md Ajis, Azizah Haron, Siti Norsazlina
