Summary:Malaysia was originally only limited to traditional songs but since there are several other races from different parts of the world that came to Malaysia, there were multiple types of song genres that reached to our country. It is all started when British Colonial has reached to Malaysia and they are not just came with political related matters but they also bring few of other things and one been mention is marching band. Even though it was started meant just for the army but as the time went by the marching was implemented to schools and universities. As marching bands were implemented toward high schools nationwide, the marching bands were also not excluded from Malaysia citizens to ask, is it really worth teaching younger generations about music? Since the older generations still think that way, it has given several impacts toward marching band and it is the financial management specifically. Since music is not considered important to be taught, it makes the marching band financial management not been taken seriously most of the time. Due to financial management not being handled in a proper way, it does give effect toward several other things in a negative way. In this thesis, the main question to be ask; what is the best financial management for the high school marching band? Qualitative method being used based on Secondary Data, then by using Thematic Analysis, the author tries to point out what matters should be written in the financial paperwork.
