Summary:This study is a qualitative study to evaluate the effectiveness of the Dalcroze Eurhythmies method in helping school students' understanding of rhythm and improvisation through movement to music. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of rhythm through movement activities using Eurhythmies in school. In addition, this study will focus on the effectiveness of improvisation through movement activities using Eurhythmies in school and also the suitability of Eurhythmies activities carried out in schools. The study was conducted at a primary school in the Selangor area. The sample used was a total of 7 samples conprinsip of 3 boys and 4 girls, and these activities are conducted in the classroom. Observation and questionnaires were used to collect the data needed to be analyzed. Results showed a positive response and good cooperation between the researcher and the study sample during the process of study. The overall findings show Eurhythmies method can help students learn the rhythms and improvisation through movement.
