Summary:This research has been carried out to identify the problems faced by secondary school music teachers in teaching caklempong. Generally, the problems that are faced by the teachers can be identified during the teaching and learning procesess in school. Among these problem, are students disciplinary problems, complications in applying caklempong techniques. The respondent comprised of three music teachers from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. These three (3) music teachers are currently teaching music in three (3) different schools which are Dato Hamzah Secondary school (Klang, Selangor) Section 19 Secondary School (Shah Alam, Selangor) and Cheras Secondary School (Kuala Lumpur). The findings of this research show that there are indeed similarities and a few differences in learning caklempong classes. Among the similarities that are identify are performed the selection of the caklempong team members, instruments, discipline, fluency in handling the instrument and most importantly, commitment. As for the differences, the factors that can be seen are the division between the team members, unorganized learning schedule and the quality of the teams attitudes.
