Summary:The use of sustainable materials has the potential to effect and influence human well-being and comfort, particularly in the cafe business. Many individuals enjoy going to cafes for beverages, conversing, and other activities. As a result, selecting the ideal sustainable material for the interior space is critical for visitor comfort and well- being. Human beings have had to be aware of their surroundings from the beginning in order to exist, which means they have an inherent knowledge of our environment and attempt to improve it. However, there are still a few people who are unconcerned about this. The goals of this research are to find out on visitor’s perceptions of sustainable interior materials finishes. This research will focus on the use of sustainable materials in cafes. In this study, is to find out the level of visitor awareness about sustainability, types of sustainable materials in cafe and the most sustainable interior materials finishes that most preferred by visitors. This study will be conducted using a quantitative approach. There will be a survey conducted on visitors who have visited cafes around Selangor, Malaysia. These surveys ask the same questions to a large number of people or utilise a Likert scale, ranking question to quantify opinions as numerical data. In order to obtain high well-being, we must priorities sustainability in our lives. Hopefully, this study can aid the community in gaining a better understanding of environmental sustainability in order to create sustainable cafés in Selangor,Malaysia.
