Description
Summary:This study aims to describes and compare the goal-scoring patterns between winning and losing teams in men's football matches of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This study was a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample size for this study was determined using power analysis, which considered the size of the effect being studied and the desired level of statistical power. A sample of n=49 matches was determined to be sufficient to detect meaningful differences in the goal-scoring patterns (corner kick, solo run, header, long shot, rebound, curve, volley, freekick, knuckle and penalty kick) of winning and losing teams with p<0.05.
