This study use panel data analyses and found that the Random Effect Regression Model is the best model to assess the relationship. This study have uses profitability, leverage, liquidity, investment opportunity, inflation and size of the firm as independent variable. The dependent variable is dividend payout ratio. Based on the result it were found that profitability leverage and investment opportunity have significant relationship with dividend payout ratio.
