Properties such as the moisture content, starch content, lignin content, xylan content and specific gravity are the properties that effects the build-up of fungus on oil palm trunk. The environment, location and surroundings also effect the possibilities of fungal infection. The purpose of this study is to show does the middle part of the trunk has the same species of fungal attack with the top and the bottom part of the trunk and aim of to reduce and utilized the oil palm waste especially the trunk the research that were collected is to prove whether there are possibilities of fungal infection will be happened on the oil palm trunk middle section.
