Further fractionation had been done to separate the number of compounds presented in the extract. The isolation process began when the promising compound(s) detected on the TLC plate. The preparative TLC method had been used to isolate the compound(s). The focus was on fraction 93 to 97 and fraction 120 to 122. 2 compounds were detected namely, compound! and i. The compound(s) had been sent for identification by using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1H NMR) spectrometer.
