Summary:Social capital refers to cultural practices in all the formal and non-formal institutions in any community that encourages cooperation among the community in order to achieve their shared goals. Social capital plays an important role in the socio-economic development of society especially, rural community. This research therefore, aims to study social capital among the Kenyah Badeng community which included sources and forms of social capital. Further, the roles of the social capital in enhancing socio-economic and socio-culture of the researched community were discussed.
