| Summary: | This research analyzes the potential of interactive artworks in the development of visual arts in Malaysia focusing on technological development and art context understanding, visual art education development, and attitude from visual art organization. There are several scenarios and problems that occur on interactive artworks in the arena of visual arts in Malaysia through the interviews and readings performed. The result of data analysis found that ‘revelations’ factors plays a very important role in influencing the acceptance and appreciation of interactive works that can determine the rise and fall of the visual arts in Malaysia. These findings reinforce that interactive artwork has the potential and very important to be absorbed into the field of visual arts in Malaysia. |
