The main component to implement this study is to identify the percentage of cognate of 100 vocabulary of Bikaduh language with Bukar Sadong dialect and to compare Bikaduh language phonemes with Bukar Sadong dialect. In order to achieve these objectives, lexicostatistics and phonemic transcription methods have been used. The theory used was Lexicostatistics theory (Keraf, 1984) and descriptive linguistic theory (Bloomfield, 1933). Result of this study shows that Bikaduh language and Bukar-Sadong dialect are both in Bidayuhic language family. Additionally, through a phonemic comparison of both languages, both languages consists of 6 vowels and 19 consonants . Thus, the results of this study also shows that phoneme /ɣ/ exist in Bikaduh language while this phoneme does not exist in Bukar-Sadong dialect and phoneme / r / does not exist in Bikaduh language while it is exist in Bukar-Sadong dialect. In addition, the Bikaduh phonemic distribution and Bukar-Sadong dialect such as phoneme / a /, / i /, / u / and consonant / p /, / t /, / d /, / k /, / g /, / m /, / n /, / ŋ /, / s /, / ɣ and / r / are present in all three syllable position. Not only that, most of the phoneme /ǝ / in Bikaduh language undergoes changes which is replaced by phoneme / a / and / i / in Bukar-Sadong dialect especially when the phoneme exist in the beginning of the word and the presence of plosive consonants / k / and / t / before nasal consonants in Bikaduh are also identified.
