| Summary: | This thesis intends to study the truth or originally of Tariqah sufiah in the tasawuf knowledge with regards to its content, which is believed to be in its original form and free from being manipulated from any form of deviation leading towards the derailment of akidah. It is also free from individual who interprets using only logical thinking. In addition this thesis will also analyse the views and judgments made by well known ulama tasawuf and last but not least, is to study how far the Tariqah Naqshabandiyah in Malaysia to be truly Tariqah mukhtabar in the knowledge of tasawuf. The scope of this thesis covers the introduction of Tariqah Sufiah and its historical evolvement , starting from era of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, i.e., through the past ulama periods until the present time. It also dwells in great details the status of Tariqah sufiah in the subject matter of tasawuf from the perspective of lessons learnt and their practical applications in references to religious books (kitab) written by Ulama sufiah scholars. Concurrently, major references were made to the Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah and its was also the intention of the author to make Tariqah Naqshabandiyah in Malaysia as the main source of information in searching the truth for this study. Different types of method were used in this study such as basic data gathering ,collecting and reviewing the different articles written by relevant authors, observation and a couple of interview sessions conducted with selected individuals with the aim to research and validate the truth and originality of the data related to Tariqah sufiah and its qualification in the knowledge of tasawuf. At the end of this study, the thesis is properly and comprehensively concluded in order to achieve the objectives together with the examples and discussions to support the final results of this thesis. Finding from this study have successfully proved and demonstrated that Tariqah Naqshabandiyah pratised in Malaysia has clearly shown that the practice was extracted directly from the true knowledge of tasawuf which was clear and concurrent with religious demands as rightly proclaimed in Al-Quran and sunnah , through the true definition of Tariqah was not discussed on great detailed, however the way-of-life practice has been inherited since the era of our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. In conclusions, it is known that status-quo of Tariqah sufiah in tasawuf has its concrete basis, through which the history has demonstrated its development with time, and Tariqah sufiah has actually proven its standing qualification in the subject of tasawuf covering the aspect politics, social and education besides its importance and effect which can produce a well being person who can differentiate the true practice of Tariqah sufiah with the practice of deviant teachings. |
