Summary:The level of mastery of Arabic verbs is an important factor in identifying the ability of students as was shown in recent studies that the level of mastery of students in Arabic morphology is still weak. As was noted by some writers, there are many students majoring in Arabic still incapable of writing Arabic expressions correctly as was proven in many mistakes of their various writings. The mistakes point to the weakness in their language capability. Therefore, this study is undertaken to analyze morphological mistakes among students of the bachelor program of Arabic Education at the Islamic Institute for Teacher Education, Bangi campus. Admittedly, Arabic morphology occupies a significant part of Arabic due to its distinguished characteristic making Arabic different from other languages especially with regards to derivatives. Likewise, it is due to Arabic underlining a strong relationship in Arabic words with their roots, meanings, juxtapositions and so on, apart from the need to know the meanings of nouns. This study relies on the sampling of 15 male and female students of June 2018 intake. Data is acquired from the questionnaires for the experimentation purpose and the data of this study is produced through qualitative content analysis regarding morphological mistakes in the derivatives. Most importantly, this study shows the lack of capability in the students dealing with Arabic morphology looking at the data pointing the inadequateness of the students in using various Arabic morphological forms correctly. It is suggested in this study that the teaching on writing exercise be frequently practiced, in addition to paying attention to the use of knowledge maps in the teaching apart from using consolidated reality program as an interesting teaching medium helping the students in comprehending and memorizing Arabic morphology.
