Summary: | The aim of this research is to uuistic descriptions in singular, dual,
and plural forms between the Arabic and Malay lnderstand the linganguages in news of the Malaysian
National News Agency online newspaper. Secondly, the study aims to use the
singular, dual, and plural forms correctly in Arabic sentences and paragraphs within
their various contexts in the articles of the Malaysian National News Agency. Lastly,
the goal of this research is to enhance cultural communication between the Arabic and
Malay languages. For this purpose, the researcher searched for a set of news articles in
both Arabic and Malay languages on the floods that occurred in Malaysia from
December 2021 to January 2022, from the website of the Malaysian National News
Agency. The researcher will provide a simple explanation of general information for
each form found, along with examples from the articles in both languages. The focus
of the study is on nouns and verbs. The researcher chose the descriptive comparative
analytical approach in this desk-based research. From this research, the researcher
concluded that the singular, dual, and plural forms in the Arabic and Malay languages
are not similar, as explained in detail in her study. The researcher also suggested
further research related to newspapers, news, articles, magazines, and Arabic
channels, especially in the Arabic language. |
