the aspects of its development and history in the Malay archipelago, especially in
Indonesia. This study also examines the views of scholars regarding the guidelines of
reading the Quran by using the knowledge of maqamat. Researcher studies the methods
implemented to teach this knowledge at Pondok Pesantren Baitul Qurra in Jakarta. The
main problem of this study is that there is a lot of research in Indonesia related to
maqamat, but no specific system has been established to teach the science of maqamat,
as well as no one has recorded the method used in this school. The objective of this
research is to examine the effectiveness of the methods used at Pondok Pesantren Baitul
Qurra , to prove a specific system for teaching maqamat knowledge, and to improve
important scientific references related to maqamat knowledge in reading the Quran.
The method of gathering information in this study is based on three approaches: (1)
Document analysis which is a literature review by reading previous studies, scientific
books, articles, etc.; (2) Conduct interviews, in the form of open-ended questions, to
Baitul Qurra instructors; and (3): Non-participative observation, which is to observe
how the teaching method of maqamat knowledge is used in the Pondok Pesantren Baitul
Qurra in Jakarta. The research concludes with a set of results and recommendations.
The main findings of this study are: The system used by the Pondok Pesantren Baitul
Qurra is the Integrated Islamic Curriculum. In addition, the specialization of studies at
the Pondok Pesantren Baitul Qurra is in the field of the Quran, including recitation of
the Quran, tajwid, memorization of the Quran, and the science of qiraat, and the method
used to teach students is talaqqi. Researcher hope that this study can benefit students
in this field, as well as a gift in the field of maqamat knowledge in the Malay
archipelago, especially in Indonesia. |
