The data is collected from Data Resource System (DRS) at the department of statistics, and the Educational Evaluation System (EES) which include average class size, school size, school type, teacher/class ratio, gender and student/teacher ratio. This study employs many statistic methods to investigate the hypothesized relation between the predetermined educational indicators (average class size, school size, school type, teacher/class ratio, gender and student/teacher ratio) and students’ academic performance; among of these employed methods are Pearson Correlation, Multiple Linear Regression, Logistic Regression and independent t- test analysis. These methods are used to establish the linkage between the predetermined indicators and students’ academic performance. The result of both regression model: multiple linear and logistics regression are comparable with some significant relationships obtained. More precisely, the study has found that gender is the most predictor of students’ performance in Sultanate of Oman. It is followed by school size, class size, average number of teacher per class, school type and then average number of students per teacher. However, the result for Pearson correlation shows that the average class, school size, and student/teacher ratio are negatively related to the students’ performance, which suggested that when class size, school size and student/teacher ratio increasing, the students/ academic performance tends to be decreasing. Furthermore, the result of independent t-test analysis indicated that there was a significant differences between academic performances across years. More precisely, the analysis suggested that students’ performance of 2010/2011 academic year was significantly higher than their 2011/2012 academic year counterparts. The study concludes that the educational system in the Sultanate of Oman is in a good direction but there is still room for improvement.
