Also the importance of this research is due to recognizing the necessary requirements for the application of knowledge management in government institutions to increase their efficiency and keep abreast of modern management.This research aims to contribute to the development of a theoretical framework to the issue of knowledge management and to reach a workable model proposed for the application of knowledge management fits the government administration in the Sultanate of Oman.Researcher impose it can’t apply the knowledge management in the Diwan of Royal Court because of the lack of regulatory, human, technical and organizational culture requrements for the application of knowledge management at the Diwan.The researcher has used the documentary approach for the preparation of the theoretical framework and descriptive analytical approach to study the possibility of applying knowledge management in the Diwan of Royal Court the researcher has relied on the sample method instead of the complete enumeration method due to the large size of the community and the time and effort restrictions. The study reached to the availability of the regulatory, technical and organizational culture requirements for the application of knowledge management at the Diwan of Royal Court and Unavailability of human resources requirements.The researcher recommended the importance of creating a strategy for the development of human resources based on the intellectual capabilitiesof employees and the liberalization of mental energies and increase the volume of investments in intellectual capital and increased cognitive balance of human resources. |
