In this regard, the study used both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The survey was used to collect data related to the study. Researcher had designed a questionnaire which was distributed to three hundred teachers (males and females) who are specialists in the teaching of Islamic education in secondary education. The study sample included 10 provinces in Libya. Collection of data took eight months. In order to analyze the data, the researcher used both the Pearson correlation coefficient of Pearson's r test and One-Way ANOVA F-Test. The study found a number of results, including that Islamic education curriculum content at the secondary level in Libya contributes to the strengthening of national unity values, as well as educational and social values among students. Thus, it contributes to social stability. This is needed by the Libyan society under the transformations that are currently taking place towards democracy. The study recommended the need to evaluate curriculum of Islamic education at the secondary level in Libya in order to integrate its parts to contribute to the strengthening of national unity.
