Summary: | This thesis aimed to identify the traditional methods used in the analysis and identification of training needs and how to meet the renewable requirements for Islamic charities as well as to detect modern methods and the extent of their applicability to the reality of contemporary charities in the identification of training needs of the employees. The study has also sought to shed light on the modern methodological approaches in the training process and compare it to the Islamic perspective of training and rehabilitation. For that, the study had tried to answer a key question namely: have the methodological approaches been followed in the training needs analysis of Islamic charities? The study used a questionnaire research first built and developed through exploratory sample of eight (8) institutions from different countries and then developed more with acceptance and approval of the expert referees, also its credibility and persistency were confirmed as a key tool to collect quantitative data. This questionnaire included (64) items distributed on (5) dimensions: personal & job information, trend on industrial relations, personal attitudes about training, opinions about training needs, access to basic courses and training. In addition, another tool used is the interview to collect qualitative data which consisted of (31) items. The study population included all the staff of the Qatar Charity Foundation in Doha a random sample was selected from all departments and divisions. To archive the objectives of the study, the researcher has used the descriptive analytical method, thus, the data was analysed using the statistical program (SPSS) and conclusions were drawn by integrating data of both methods. The study reached several important results via the extraction of the percentages, frequencies and analyzing variations, as well as making comparisons, among the findings: that most of the performance gaps treatment depends on continuous training, which is based on a systematic analysis of the actual needs, and that the most important reasons for the overall performance gaps in charities are due to the rigidity and lack of regulations and mechanisms that regulate the work, the study also proposed a special model for the analysis of training needs of charities. |
