It also triggers many theorists to continuously explore the most successful methods that contribute to improve the level of job performance effectiveness. Organizational culture is one of the most prominent administrative approaches that has received great attention in recent times, with the aim of enhancing different types of organizations and institutions and studying between their relationship and many other organizational factors. Conceivably, the most prominent of these organizational factors are job performance and organizational change. Thus, this study attempts to investigate the direct relationship between organizational culture and both job performance and individual readiness for change, and its indirect relationship through organizational identification in educational institutions in al-Dakhiliya Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman using the descriptive-analytical method. A set of questionnaires was used as an instrument of data collection, which consisted of four constructs with nine latent factors. The sample size consisted of 700 teacher and administrator respondents randomly selected from both genders using the stratified sampling technique. The validity of the instrument was tested by ten educational and academic experts while the reliability was verified through a pilot study of 200 participants. The result of Cronbach’s alpha was .94 which suggested that the scale is highly reliable. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used to analyze the data. More specifically, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were used to examine the construct validity of the research instruments. The Structural Equation Modelling was also used to investigate the relationship between research variables. The findings suggested that the instrument met the assumption of construct validity and showed that there is a direct positive relationship between organizational culture on the one hand and job performance and individual readiness for change on the other. Furthermore, the result of the analysis also indicated that the organizational identification variable played a pivotal role in mediating between the independent variable (organizational culture) and dependent variables. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended that the Ministry of Education should pay more attention to organizational culture to enhance employee acceptance of development programs and educational developments which consequently enhance their job performance. Job performance and its affecting factors have been considered among the most
important issues that attract the attention of theorists in science of management and
behavior, due to the significant low job performance of some institutions and
organizations. It also triggers many theorists to continuously explore the most successful
methods that contribute to improve the level of job performance effectiveness.
Organizational culture is one of the most prominent administrative approaches that has
received great attention in recent times, with the aim of enhancing different types of
organizations and institutions and studying between their relationship and many other
organizational factors. Conceivably, the most prominent of these organizational factors
are job performance and organizational change. Thus, this study attempts to investigate
the direct relationship between organizational culture and both job performance and
individual readiness for change, and its indirect relationship through organizational
identification in educational institutions in al-Dakhiliya Governorate in the Sultanate of
Oman using the descriptive-analytical method. A set of questionnaires was used as an
instrument of data collection, which consisted of four constructs with nine latent factors.
The sample size consisted of 700 teacher and administrator respondents randomly
selected from both genders using the stratified sampling technique. The validity of the
instrument was tested by ten educational and academic experts while the reliability was
verified through a pilot study of 200 participants. The result of Cronbach’s alpha was
.94 which suggested that the scale is highly reliable. Descriptive and inferential statistical
methods were used to analyze the data. More specifically, Exploratory Factor Analysis
(EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were used to examine the construct
validity of the research instruments. The Structural Equation Modelling was also used to
investigate the relationship between research variables. The findings suggested that the
instrument met the assumption of construct validity and showed that there is a direct
positive relationship between organizational culture on the one hand and job
performance and individual readiness for change on the other. Furthermore, the result of
the analysis also indicated that the organizational identification variable played a pivotal
role in mediating between the independent variable (organizational culture) and
dependent variables. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended that the
