Summary:This study aims to examine trainees' reaction of the gains of knowledge, skills, and attitude they obtained from soft skills training program at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).This study use self-assessment approach to get trainees' reaction. Quantitative data collection consisted of an online survey conducted through a selfadministered online survey tool- Stlrvey Monkey. Out of 322, only 206 were responded in this study, representing a total response rate of 63.9%. To analyse the quantitative data, Independent sample T-Test, ANOVA, along with descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation), were used. The findings indicated that, trainees thought that their level of knowledge, skills and attitude had improved due to training, with high level for attitude, and moderate level for both knowledge and skills. The results showed that, there were significant differences in trainees' reaction of the gains of knowledge and attitude they obtained from soft skills training program based on participants job position. On the other hand, there were no significant differences in trainees' reaction of the gains of skills they obtained fiom soft skills training program based on all demographic variables.
