Summary:This research deals with the issue of the legal status of the accession of the State of Palestine to the International Police Organization "INTERPOL" under the Israeli occupation, where the problem of the study is summarized in the specificity of the accession of the State of Palestine to the International Criminal Police Organization "INTERPOL", and the impact of changing the legal status of Palestine resulting from its recognition as a state on the mechanism Interpol Palestine worked on the entire Palestinian lands in the presence of the Israeli occupation. This research mainly aims to clarify the legal status of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967; and to identify the nature of the International Criminal Police Organization “Interpol” and its mechanism of action; Also to the discovery of the legal mechanisms for the accession of the State of Palestine to the International Criminal Police Organization “Interpol”; and to identify the legal implications of the State of Palestine’s accession to the International Criminal Police Organization “INTERPOL”; Finally, it aims to identify the obstacles to the implementation of the work of Interpol Palestine in the presence of the Israeli occupation. To reach these goals, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method and the historical method. Among the most important findings of this study: The international recognition of Palestine has resolved the issue of the existence of the “State of Palestine” as an international legal personality, after it was just an observer entity in the United Nations, and thus the legal status of the occupied Palestinian territories and the Palestinian people was re-characterized as a people under occupation; The "Interpol" organization is also one of the means adopted by the parties of the international community to combat crime through the coordination of police work between the various competent security structures of the States parties to this organization, and the strengthening of the work of international organizations in confronting the criminal phenomenon, in order to stabilize countries and pursue the continuous development of the criminal phenomenon. , for the sake of the stability of states and the pursuit of the continuous development of the international criminal phenomenon in its various forms and dimensions; In addition, one of the most important privileges that Palestine enjoys as a member of “Interpol” is the affirmation of the sovereignty of the State of Palestine and its membership in the General Assembly, the pursuit of criminals, the return of fugitives, and participation with other countries in obtaining information and data about the crime and its perpetrators through the “Interpol” database, as well as developing The Palestinian National Central Bureau of INTERPOL; One of the results is also that one of the most important obligations of Palestine as a member is to establish a national central office within the state, train its cadres, respect the sovereignty of member states, abide by human rights standards during the implementation of Interpol’s decisions, as well as contribute financially to INTERPOL and work to prevent and combat crime through permanent cooperation with all agencies Combating crime and implementing the content of INTERPOL's international bulletins.
