Summary: | The purpose of this study is to investigated the role of TQM in the performance of the
functions of the offices of governors in Oman and the contribution of TQM to the
development of performance in the offices of governors in Oman. to achieve the
objectives of the study, The use of the random sample when selecting the sample by
distributing (327) questionnaire on the sample of the study consisting of (employees
and managers) in the offices of governors in Oman, and the questionnaire (chao,2011
and talib rahman,2010) was used as a data collection tool. The researcher relied on
Juran's theory ١٩٨٢and model Deming.The data of the study were analyzed and tested
by using analytical descriptive statistical tools suitable for the nature of the data through
the correlation matrix test and the alpha-Cronbach coefficient of 86.8%, the normal
distribution tests, the Anova analysis and multiple linear regression through data
processing Using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 25). The results of
the study showed that there is an impact of the practice of total quality on improving
the performance of the offices of governors. The correlation coefficient was 0.653,
which confirms the hypothesis that there is a statistically significant relationship
between the practice of TQM and performance improvement in the offices of governors.
The study also found that there are no statistically significant differences between the
respondents' opinions according to the demographic variables of the study (gender, age,
Qualification, caree level). It can be concluded that the application of empowerment,
good leadership and participation of employees in the development of the policies of
the institution, and the importance of continuous improvement and improvement,
increases TQM practices and this is reflected positively in the progress of the institution
and improve the image of the services provided by the company. The study
recommended focusing on training the employees and employees of the governor's
offices in order to work with the logic of total quality management, which requires
quality of service and quality of relations between the staff of the offices of the
governors in Oman. |
