requirement to implement the quality management system ISO 9001:2015 in the
Ministry of Education and measure the impact of leadership in the fifth item of the
standard of ISO 9001:2015 on decision-making. The study emphasizes assisting the
decision-maker in applying the required standards of the quality management system
and achieving the designated goals of the quality management system ISO 9001:2015
in the Ministry of Education, Oman. The study applies a descriptive-analytical
approach, analysis of variance (ANOVA), multiple regression analysis, and Scheffe’s
test for dimensional comparisons. Based on the hypothesis/preliminary analysis, the F
value of the quality management system is (151.868), which is implemented in the
standard of leadership and provides the requirement in the organization. However, there
is a lack of support in providing human and material resources which is related to
external factors such as offering job grades and human and material budgets. The
analysis conducted in the study signifies the statistical significance of leadership in
decision-making based on the standard of quality management system in the Ministry
of Education, Sultanate of Oman. Therefore, the study recommends the application of
quality tools (Deming’s model) and the checklist in the leadership item of the quality
management system ISO 9001:2015. |
