| Summary: | The study is based on language Needs Analysis of the Arab Muslim tourist in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The main factor leading to this study, human resources in the field of Islamic tourism were weak in hospitality and communication in Arabic and the low quality of using of this language in tourism promotion materials. The study is based on the Language Needs Analysis phase pioneered by Hutchinson & Waters which consists of' 3 main elements namely necessities, lacks and wants. The "necessities "is to detect the factors of choosing Kuala Lumpur as an Islamic tourism destination among Arab tourist. The "lacks" is to define the weakness of Arabic use in the Islamic tourism sector in Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, the "wants" is to identify the tourist willingness toward Arabic language use as Islamic tourism language and to propose the Arabic Language fir Islamic Tourism Purposes Model. This study aims to design the Need Analysis Model of Arabic Language fiºr Islamic Tourism Purposes in Kuala Lumpur. In addition, it is to test the model among Arab Muslim tourists in Kuala Lumpur to know the necessities, lacks and wants of Arabic I'm- Islamic Tourism Purposes in Kuala Lumpur. Moreover, this study is conduct to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of the model taking into account expert suggestions. To achieve these objectives, the study 118 Arab Muslim tourists. This survey will he conducted at tourist business, education, health and recreation centers in Kuala Lumpur. The researcher will analyze the data using SPSS 22.0 software program and Fuzzy Delphi methodology. This study assists in designing the Arabic Language for Islamic Tourism Purposes Model fir Malaysians. The study will he in accordance with the plans and endeavours of the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture and those related to the tourism sector to prepare its human resources with communication skills with Arab Muslim tourists in Arabic. This study contributes to design the text hooks fir students specialized in Arabic language and tourism, compile the dictionaries of terminology and linguistic structures from Malay to Arabic in certain Islamic tourism situations and develop the smartphone application for Islamic tourism in Kuala Lumpur in Arabic. |
