Summary: | This study aimed to investigate the impact of applying artificial intelligence and
administrative communication on improving institutional performance in the Ministry
of Interior in the United Arab Emirates, and the role of variable decision-making as a
mediating in the relationship between the application of artificial intelligence and
administrative communication and improving institutional performance. The study
employed descriptive-analytical and quantitative approaches. The study population
reached (17291) employees from among the leaders, administrators, and technicians in
the ministry, and a stratified random sample of (376) was chosen. The study
measurement instrument was utilized which consisted of (47) items distributed over five
axes, namely, personal data, artificial intelligence, administrative communication,
decision-making, and performance improvement. The statistical program (SPSS) was
used for descriptive analyzes and primary analysis, and the structural modelling
equation program (Smart-PLS) was used to test the hypotheses of the study. The results
concluded that there is a direct statistical effect of the application of artificial
intelligence on improving institutional performance. As well as a statistically significant
effect of administrative communication on improving institutional performance, and the
existence of an effect for decision-making as a mediating in the relationship between
the mentioned variables above, as well as between administrative communication and
improving institutional performance in the Ministry of Interior, and the results indicated
the validity of decision-making as a mediating variable in the relationship between
Artificial intelligence and administrative communication on improving institutional
performance in the Ministry of Interior in the United Arab Emirates. The study
recommended many recommendations, including the need to work on improving
policies and strategies that facilitate and control the decision-making process. As well
as to attempt to apply one of the successful international experiences in the use of
artificial intelligence technology to further develop and improve methods of
administrative communication and institutional performance, the study did not neglect
to recommend the need to amend the policies and strategies of the Ministry of Interior
in line with the rapid developments in today's world. |
