description This study investigates the impact of quality E-government on the employee satisfaction at the Sate Minister's Office in Dhofar Governorate, Oman. The study primarily aims at examining the E-government and its impact on the employees and their satisfaction. The study adopted the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) as a theoretical framework. Based on Davis's (1986) technology acceptance model, the study used the descriptive statistical analysis as an analytical tool as it best suits the study data. 311 participants were randomly selected to take part in the investigation. A 75-item survey was designed for the data collection based on the study three main variables which were developed based on the previous studies. Then subjected to several advanced statistical tests such as exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis in order to use the method of Structural Equation Modeling (AMOS). The survey was piloted statistically to ensure its validity and reliability. Due to its validity in measuring the relations study, and due to its distinction from others as it is able to test complex variables at the same time, taking into account the mediating variable, the study produced a set of results, the most important of which was that the quality E-government has a positive impact on the work environment and employee satisfaction, where these factors accounted for 89% of the size of the effect, and the work environment factor had the greatest impact on employee satisfaction compared to the quality E-government with an impact rate of 34%. The study also found that the work environment mediates the positive effect, in part, between E-government quality and employee satisfaction. It is also recommended that the work environment should continually be improved, since it is proved that it has a significant impact on the employee satisfaction.
