| Summary: | Digital libraries are the outcome of scientific and technological great development in the modern era. It has become the quick and soft means to infuse knowledge on the scope of the world; there is no researcher or student in various fields to dispense with it. Although it is still a board spectrum of digital libraries face of obstacles and problems; .especially in the Arab and Islamic world in terms of :physical or technical. 'Islamic research has paramount importance in the field of Da’wah and dissemination of Islamic knowledge. Thus do not dispense with the use of those libraries to keep up with the times and take advantage of the features of such digital libraries which surpassed the traditional libraries in many respects. Hence the importance of this research is to try to address the issue through two axes; first digital libraries and reality in the current Arab and Islamic world and the second over the of the Islamic research of digital libraries in our time and evaluate their current status. The researcher has to cover those topics through the chapters of this study, which aims to identify the requirements necessary for a success fb digital project for the library of Islamic Da'wah in Libya, and the review of c-cs of digital libraries and support for research through the identification o existing projects in this field in various parts of the world. The researcher has to collect information on the subject followed several methods including extrapolation of the literature, including books, articles, reports and reading the contents of the libraries sites on the Internet. In addition, the researcher has also conducted a questionnaire, containing 350 copies have been distributed among specialists in the field of study inside Libya The results showed the need for digital section at the Islamic Da'wah in library. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method for d purposes. At the conclusion of the study the researcher reached a number of conclusions and recommendations was the most important; the need for more attention to digital libraries in terms of material and financial support and the provision of infrastructure for the establishment of projects for digital libraries in Arab and Islamic countries; the urgent need for establishing a digital library at the Library of the Islamic Da'wah in Libya; in order to achieve the objectives of the Islamic Da'wah library, which is the propagation of Islam in a manner of good and dissemination of Islamic Sciences, the digital library will help achieve this goal by introducing digital system. |
