Oleh itu, satu kajian telah dibuat dalam mengkaji tahap mengubahsuai dan persepsi isi rumah dari segi personaliti penghuni, citarasa, minat, cara hidup, nilai serta status sosial. Tapak kajian yang dipilih adalah di kawasan Melaka Tengah. Terraced house modification has been a trend in recent years. It has been done excessively either with or without consent from the local authorities. However, there are no proper steps taken to overcome this problem. The reason is that terraced house modification has become a necessity for the resident to cater for the growing number of household.
