This study aims to examine the level of attitudes and interests of Year 5 students towards Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) achievement in Mathematics subjects in the district of Kluang, Johor. This study uses a quantitative design that involves a questionnaire instrument measuring interests and attitudes as well as a test of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) A total of 210 Year 5 students were involved as respondents for this study. Descriptive analysis of respondents showed a good level of agreement on interests and attitudes. In addition, students 'mastery of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) was at a moderate level. Furthermore, Spearman correlation analysis showed that there was a positive relationship between attitudes and interests in students' mastery of Skills. Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS Mathematics. The multiple regression analysis conducted showed that attitudes and interests were significant predictors of students' mastery of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).
