Summary: | The intention of Ihram in Miqat is very important in the conduct of Hajj. The need to know the time and place of this miqat is to facilitate the implementation of Hajj. Therefore, the demand to learn it has been applied from the realm of schooling again. This topic has been studied in Johor government religious schools for a long time. However, traditional and scriptural learning only makes it difficult for students to understand the situation and the picture of the behavior. The objective of this research is to design and develop Miqat Haji animation as well as see its effectiveness in improving the understanding of grade 6 students. This research is in the form of experiments with quantitative design. There were 60 students and 4 grade 6 teachers selected as study subjects using a simple randomization technique. Pretest, post-test and questionnaires were given to the respondents to answer the three research questions. The results showed that the mean value of the post-test was higher than the pre-test which was 50.93. Thus, the results of the study have proven that the application of miqat hajj animation is very effective in improving students' understanding in learning the title of miqat hajj because there is a strong relationship between the use of animation and the achievement of respondents. Therefore, it is very important for teachers to use effective methods and interesting learning materials. In conclusion, the use of animation as a learning approach is very effective in improving student understanding and achievement. |
