This study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of learning method using teaching aid Algebra Tile in improving students" performance and interest towards topic Algebra. Intervention using learning method was conducted for 10 hours. Pre and post for test and interest instrument was given to the respondents to test the effectiveness of learning method use towards students" performance and interest. A total of 40 respondents consist of control and experimental groups are from students at Kolej Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (KYPJ) in Kulai was involved in this study. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 16.0 is used to analyse descriptive and inferential analysis. The findings show that there is effect on learning method used toward students" performance and interest for topic Algebra. Based on the significant value of independent T-test (p=0.000) and Man-Whitney U test (p=0.017) showed that there are significantly difference in the students" performance and interest for control and experimental groups.
