Many reviewers argue that the use of learning aids can increase students' interest and achievement in a topic especially in the topic of Area. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the use of Augmented Reality on students' interests and achievements in the topic of Area. In the context of the study, Augmented Reality is an application that contains 3-Dimensional shapes and formulas related to the topic of Area. The study conducted an intervention using Augmented Reality on 16 respondents involved. To test the hypothesis either the use of augmented reality increases students' interest and achievement, pre and post achievement tests as well as interest questionnaires are given to respondents. Statistic Packages for Social Science (SPSS) software version 20.0 is used to create descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the study showed that there is an effect of using Augmented Reality on students' interests and achievements in the Topic of Area. Based on the significant value of Wilcoxon Test on student achievement (p=0.039) and Wilcoxon Test on student interest (p=0.000) obtained there is a difference in students' interest and achievement in the topic of Area by using Augmented Reality.
