The study was conducted at Rantau Manis, Gua Musang by utilizing the concept of Projek Agropolitan, with the intention to eliminate the hardcore poverty and to boost up the development of MRL in the area. The concept was introduced during the development of ECER territory in RMK-9. The study was carried out to observe the efforts of the government in developing MRL, as well as to identify the constructive factors to its success. Besides, this study was also to look into the roles played by the agencies related to Projek Agropolitan and to identify the problems faced by those agencies. The methodology of the study consists of two main methods which were interviews and observation through site visits. The interviews were conducted with officers from ECERDC and KESEDAR. The questionnaires for interview divided into three main parts, which were; the roles of the agencies, the problem faced by the agencies in the project implementation and the proposal to improvise the project. The findings show that the Projek Agropolitan is able to increase the income of the participants; while getting their life for the betterment. This project can become a model for another MRL land development project due to activities which can benefits to them.
