Understanding the construction material market is a must for almost every party in construction. The problem faced today is there is a big gap between consultant, contractor and supplier. In order to solve the mentioned problems, CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) Malaysia had developed a website named "MYCIP" (Malaysian Construction industry Product Portal). Unfortunately, the website is not functioned well and most of the consultant, contractor and supplier do not utilize that website. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to study usability of MYCIP and the problems face by MYCIP’s user, figure out the disadvantages in MYCIP, and redesign MYCIP. Structure of literature review is divided into three main groups, which are reviews about construction industry, MyCIP and website redesign. Web usability and web redesign guidelines from literature are explained. Semi-structured interviews, inspection method, scenario analysis, competitive analysis have been conducted to capture MyCIP usability and expected improvement for MyCIP. User interface prototype is developed and evaluate. Testing and prototype design are repeating few times until users are satisfy with the outcome. At the end of this research, an established user interface prototype has been developed. 2010 Thesis http://eprints.utm.my/id/eprint/13610/ masters Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Faculty of Computer Science and Information System Fakulti Sains Komputer dan Sistem Maklumat
